Here’s what we plan to write about:
- Real estate multiple listing services (MLS). We’re interested in this topic because our clients are MLS organizations. There’s been a lot of talk lately about the “death of the MLS” and how our industry is being transformed by new technology, regionalization, and legal challenges. We have many questions about where the MLS industry is headed, and hope our questions spur some great conversations with our clients, competitors, MLS consultants, NAR, listing aggregators, the many other companies we work with in serving our clients, and, of course, the RE.net
- Creating and Supporting Software. This is what we do every day, so we hope to share our thoughts about the joys and frustrations of our profession.
- Employee Ownership. FBS is 100% owned by our employees through an ESOP. Although FBS has been in business for over 25 years, we became employee owned about two years ago, and it’s been a fascinating ride so far. We hope to share what we see as the benefits and challenges of being employee owned and hopefully learn from others traveling this same path.
We hope you find reason to return frequently, grab our RSS feed, and post your comments.
