General Provisions
By registering for or attending an event hosted by FBS (“Event”), you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all attendees, regardless of the method of registration or attendance. Acceptance of these Terms is a mandatory condition of accessing FBS event platforms (“App”) and Event participation.
Data Privacy & Policy Integration
Your privacy is important to us. By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge the FBS Event Privacy Notice, which governs the collection, storage, and processing of your personal information.
- Registrant Lists: Where applicable to specific Events featuring sponsors or exhibitors, you agree that FBS may share with official event sponsors and exhibitors the contact information you provide via registration or your App profile. If you wish to opt out of this sharing, you must select the “Opt-Out” preference during the registration process.
- Universal Consent via Interaction: Regardless of any opt-out preferences selected during registration, the act of allowing any other event participant, exhibitor, or staff member to scan your Event credentials, or otherwise voluntarily sharing your profile information with another party through the App or other digital means, constitutes your express, real-time consent to share your profile data with that specific party.
- Third-Party Responsibility: FBS is not responsible for how third parties (including exhibitors and other attendees) use the data you choose to share through these voluntary interactions.
App Features & Interactive Services
The App may provide features to enhance your event experience, including social, directory, and networking services.
- Networking Opt-In: If you choose to utilize interactive features or enable profile visibility within the App, you provide express consent for FBS to display your profile information (such as Name, Title, and Company) to other registered attendees.
- Preference Management: You may update your visibility preferences at any time within the App; however, your data may remain accessible to any users with whom you have previously interacted or shared information.
Liability & Release
- Assumption of Risk: Attendance at live events involves inherent risks. By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to communicable diseases, personal injury, or property damage.
- Release: You hereby release and hold harmless FBS and its officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or actions arising out of your participation in the Event.
Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to behave professionally. FBS reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove any individual from the Event (and disable platform access) for disruptive, harassing, or illegal behavior without a refund. For internal Events, participants remain subject to all applicable FBS employee handbooks and policies.
Media Release
FBS and its partners may record the Event using any recording media. By attending, you grant FBS a perpetual, royalty-free license to use your image, likeness, and voice in promotional materials, social media, or internal communications.
Force Majeure
FBS shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations where the delay or failure is caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government regulations, or public health emergencies.
